TOTAL PERCUSSION INTENSIVE
The Total Percussion Intensive (TPI), modeled after Joe McCarthy’s BASIC Training®, Bootcamp for Serious Drummers®, is a hands-on workshop designed on the age-old philosophy that mastery of the fundamentals is essential to achieve total control in music.
TPI focuses on exploring essential percussion concepts, tones, and techniques from all over the world. Participants will work alongside world-class percussionists to expand their knowledge and understanding of the vast percussion family. Designed for high school, collegiate, and professional-level percussionists, band directors and music educators are encouraged to attend and gain additional insight to teach essential percussion techniques and concepts confidently.
